Grand Jury: "Notable Deficiencies" in Shasta County Coroner's Office operations

REDDING, Calif. — The Shasta County Grand Jury (SCGJ) has found what they call "notable deficiencies" at the Shasta County Coroner's Office following an investigation into their operations.

The Grand Jury noted a bone saw covered with bone residue on its August 16, 2021 inspection of the Coroner’s Autopsy Suite.
